The Joy El Jubilee is a great day of connecting.
Many people visit Joy El for the first time.
Many people come back almost every year.
This year Janie came for the first time in 41 years. Now living in another state, she was back in the area for the weekend. She saw the sign for the Joy El Jubilee and realized it was happening now. She decided to take a slight turn for a trip down memory lane.
She remembered the Dining Hall and some of the cabins. There wasn’t a pool or gym or worship center. She remembered many of the activities and then while sitting across from Claude Zimmerman, (The on-site Radio announcer from WCRH http://wcrh.org/) she shared that she gave her life to Jesus Christ 41 years ago during a week of summer camp.
