Meeting Rooms
Looking for great meeting space for your groups?
Each conference room has a TV, DVD player, and HDMI hook up as well as a whiteboard.
The Worship Center
Our Largest meeting room holds up to 330 guests. It comes equipped with a full lobby area, front and rear projection systems, and a full sound system. This room is always reserved for groups of 80 or larger.
Jenkins Meeting Room
The second-largest meeting room is located in the Shepherds Lodge. Holds up to 140. This room is always reserved for groups of 80 or larger.
Note: Shepherds Lodge is unavailable during Joy El summer camp season approximately June through August
The Spruce/Pine Meeting Room
Our third-largest meeting room holds up to 90 guests. This room can be divided into 2 rooms for breakouts and activities if desired.
The Cedar Meeting Room
The Cedar meeting room holds up to 50 guests. This room is unique because it overlooks the central camp area, and is perfect size for typical groups of around 30-40 people.
The Garman Meeting Room
The Garman Room is the only meeting room that includes a kitchenette and conference area. The room can accommodate 40 people.
The Hemlock Meeting Room
The Hemlock Room the room can accommodate 30 people.
Community Rooms
The Café and Sollenberger Room (Game Room) can also be used as breakout areas and will hold up to 15 (Sollenberger) or 20 (Café) people.
Dining Hall
In our main Dining Room, we serve all of our meals family style. This basically means that our 4.12 Leadership Training Students bring the food right to your table and wait on you for more food and drink refills. Then, when you’re finished, they will take your plates and bowls and do the dishes! You do NONE of the clean up at Joy El! We take care of that so you can focus on why you came.
All lunches and dinners are served with all you can eat salad bars, and our breakfasts come with a full cereal bar! We can also accommodate special dietary needs!
Dining Hall Expansion
In May of 2022, the expansion and renovation of the Dining Hall was completed, giving the building a refresh and additional space for smaller attached meeting rooms (Maschoff and Cunningham) and a bigger Camp Store.
Together, the main Dining Room, Cunningham, and Maschoff can serve up to 397 people.
Cunningham
Dining Hall meeting room. Accommodates 25.
Maschhoff
Dining Hall meeting room. Accommodates 60.
