At Christians in Action (CIA), we believe faith isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we live out. Jesus calls us to step out in boldness, to serve, to love, and to make a difference. That’s exactly what we’re doing with our upcoming event Joy El Work Days.
This isn’t just another workday—it’s a movement of young people stepping up, stepping out, and putting their faith into action. It’s about coming together as students, parents, volunteers, and staff to serve God, build relationships, and experience the joy of making a difference!
When I first introduced this idea, I shared my own memories of Joy El—laughing as I jumped into grass piles, playfully launching mulch at my brother, and experiencing the deep satisfaction of serving alongside friends. Those stories sparked excitement, and now we have 50 students eager to join in!
What’s even more exciting? For many of these students, this will be their first time at Joy El. This event will introduce them to another side of this incredible ministry—one where faith and action collide in a powerful way.
By serving together, these students will see firsthand what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. They’ll witness the power of teamwork, feel the joy of serving a greater purpose, and forge friendships that last well beyond the day.
This service project is more than just a workday—it’s a launching point. It’s an opportunity for students to grow in their faith, step out of their comfort zones, and take ownership of their journey with Christ. I can’t wait to see how God moves through this experience!
