Development Coordinator

 

Micheal CovingtonMicheal first came to Joy El in the 6th grade, as a camper. He went on to return not only as a camper, but eventually as a 4.12 Leadership Training Program student, an intern, a Summer Camp Counselor, and now in his full time role as Development Coordinator.

Micheal graduated from High School, has earned certifications in personal training, spent time in the Army, and plans to do clinical psychology in the future. In his role as Development Coordinator, he’s most excited about the opportunity to be an evangelist!

Micheal lives with his wife Monica and their dog. Some of his hobbies include martial arts, archery, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, and skydiving.

One of Micheal’s favorite verses is Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” This verse has been an encouragement to Micheal as he is calling on God to do great things and believes that He will answer!
