Mindy StonerMindy became involved with Joy El through her friendship with Susie Barkdoll. Mindy spent time as a secretary for Greencastle BA as well as a listener for Mercersburg Elementary BA. Seeing the impact of Bible Adventure, she felt a call to be apart of the ministry on a deeper level. After keeping an eye out on the website for job opportunities, she eventually saw the BA Administrative Assistant position open up and knew that it would be the perfect fit.

Mindy is excited about the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of children through supporting others in their roles. She is grateful to be a part of a ministry which makes such a difference in others lives!

Mindy graduated from Greencastle Antrim in 1987, and eventually went on to pursue an education in Law. She graduated with her Associates in Law & Paralegal from Hagerstown Business college in 2005, received her Bachelors in Law from Kaplan University in 2011, and received her Juris Master degree from Liberty University in 2018. While she isn’t directly using her law expertise in this role, Mindy has pursued and enjoyed the study of Law because, she says, it applies to everything!

Mindy has lived for over 17 years in Mercersburg with her husband Brian. She is a PA native, having been raised in Greencastle.

Reading, helping in ministry, a good cup of coffee, and just spending time on the porch swing with her husband are a few of Mindy’s favorite pastimes.

A favorite verse of Mindy’s is Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” We all have purpose in being here, a ministry of some sort, Mindy says. No one is here by accident!
