Our summer staff has been training all week to serve campers with excellence this summer. On Friday the 4.12 leadership training students will join us for their final training summit prior to the summer.
Age characteristics, electives preparation, Bible study preparation, camper discipline, homesickness prevention, evangelism and the list goes on. We will have done everything within our power to prepare ourselves. But the most foundational time of our training has been the time that we spent together in prayer. You see, we want the Power of God to be at work in each staff member and camper.
“Because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction” (1 Thes 1:5a).
We would like to invite you to join us on Sunday, June 12 at 2 PM. We will begin our time in the worship center. Then, small groups will depart travel around the campground to pray over specific areas of camp. We will invite God’s blessing on the summer of ministry and pray for protection against the evil one.
Jesus said, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20).
Will you please join us?
