By Lisa Doyle, Assistant Director of Bible Adventure/CIA
Some time ago we were challenged to write a six-word poem during our leadership development time. My moment of inspiration hit and I had it in a flash: Invitation given, no longer an atheist!
There is nothing that thrills me more than people moving from death to life. When I see the names coming through my office of children from the various Bible Adventures that have begun relationships with Jesus Christ and are learning of the hope that is only found in Him; it is a real encouragement to keep doing what we are doing.
God is giving Christians in Pennsylvania an avenue to impact the lives of thousands of students. We don’t have to go far to find someone that wants to know more about God. Just go to your closest elementary school. We have new students joining us almost daily. From September 2017- August 2018, Joy El, a Pennsylvania Christian camp and retreat center, knows of 541 students who begin a relationship with Jesus. The work of our volunteers and staff is not in vain! As relationships develop, God opens doors for us to share our faith. Come join us. Encourage your church friends to come along. You will be greatly blessed. Your life will be changed. We get to see results now of lives changed for eternity! Our goal for all teams throughout the program is 4100 students.
This is beyond what we can do on our own.
We are trusting in God to continue to send staff, volunteers and students. Please pray that our current students are strong and courageous as they have opportunities to invite their friends. Pray for them to know and understand God’s Word and to share it with their families and friends.
