Bible Adventure Weekends:

Overview

Kids, come join us for an exciting weekend of fun, friends, and faith-building. We’ll provide lots of amazing activities along with some solid teaching from God’s Word that will help you come to know Jesus better.

Parents — During this time away from daily distractions, students will experience solid biblical instruction that speaks to them on their level. Trained counselors will come alongside campers to mentor and role model a living, vibrant faith.

Fall Retreat: December 3-5, 2021

Brick by Brick

God says that when we respond to him, he makes us a new creation.  What does it mean to be a new creation that God has made?  How can we continue to grow more and more in our relationship with Christ?

Speaker: Joe Hall

Joe HallPastor Joe has a ministry called, “Tending Sheep”. This ministry involves filling in for pastors who are sick or on vacation. He has been with his wife, Amy, for over 40 years! Pastor Joe is an avid chess player even having played at World Chess Championships! Beside playing chess, he enjoys pc games with his son and grandsons. He has a passion for one other thing, sharing the truths of God’s word with others. So bring a chess board or a Bible and we can be friends forever!

Schedule: Check in begins Friday at 7:00 PM. Weekend concludes on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Cost: $92.50. But register and pay in full by November 12 to receive a $25.00 discount. You pay only $67.50!

Who’s Invited: Bible Adventure Weekends are for all students in grades 2 to 6.

What to Bring: Your Bible, notebook, pen or pencil, pillow, sleeping bag, enough clean clothes for the weekend, bathroom necessities and money for the camp store/canteen and friends to share the weekend with.

 

What to Leave Behind

Radios, CD players, iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, video games, etc.

Christa

A native of Chambersburg, Christa Mast spent many years at Joy El as camper, student of the 4.12 program, and senior counselor.  She currently resides with her husband Cameron and their daughter Cassandra in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  Christa loves being a stay at home mom while also volunteering as children’s ministry leader at their home church, Christ Church West Chester. She has a passion for Family Discipleship and is currently finishing her Masters of Arts in Church Ministries through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is very excited to be back at Joy El as our guest speaker!

We are fascinated by great stories, especially the ones that keep us turning the page. Have you ever thought about how God is writing the story of your life? Children need to know that God is the author of their story. He is writing an amazing story out of their lives and they can see and understand that as they interact with Him.

Registration fees are nonrefundable within 14 days of any event. If a cancellation is necessary in the last 14 days due to illness or accident, a written request to transfer fees to another camp event must be submitted within one week of the conclusion of the original event. A note from a physician must be included. Certain restrictions apply and a transfer fee may be charged.
