“Joy El’s Bible Adventure Retreats are ‘all encompassing.’  Children have the opportunity to learn about Christ through music, scripture, open dialog and team building activities.  The structure of the weekend allows for each child to embrace Christ differently.  Whether it is through a quiet conversation or a real ‘leap of faith’ on the zip line.  Everyone comes away from Joy El feeling loved, more confident and faithful. Our staff and volunteers look forward to this weekend just as much as the children.”

— Del Franz, York PA, adult group leader

Spring Retreat

“He is not here. He is risen just as he said.” How can that be? Can someone who died really come alive again? During this weekend retreat, campers will learn the mystery of Jesus’ resurrection.
They will come away with a solid understanding that they can trust what Christ said – that not only did He die for our sins but he rose again just as he said he would.
