When Jesus enters our lives, it’s like He is entering our home. We tend to invite Jesus into the presentable areas of our lives, but we restrict the messy ones as off-limits. What parts of our lives do we keep God out of? What would it look like to invite Jesus into all areas of our life?
“And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.”
Ruthie Dunkle comes to us from Winfield, Pa, where she and her husband have retired to a cabin on Penns Creek. They served the Lord in the Pastoral ministry for 45 wonderful years. She continues to be a speaker, Bible teacher, and enjoys being a substitute teacher at Northumberland Christian School. She also loves singing with two of her sisters and brother-in-law in a gospel quartet, One Heart-One Voice. She is a mother of 3 grown children; Tim, David (now in heaven) and Rachel, and it’s her joy to be the grandma of Zack and Zoey!
Rachel Gehman, daughter of Ruthie Dunkle, is a local nonfiction author (Pen Name: Rachel D. Lyne) living in Pennsylvania with her husband of 17 years and two children whom she homeschools. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies with a Concentration in Biblical Counseling and enjoys speaking to women’s groups, schools, and youth groups. She and her husband serve as Youth Directors and on the Worship Team at Manheim Grace Church.
