A retreat at camp provides your children with…
- Time away from daily distractions to focus on building relationships with others and with God
- Solid biblical instruction that speaks to them at their level
- Trained, college-age counselors to mentor and role model a living, vibrant faith
Schedule: February 6-7, Thursday, 9 AM to Friday, 3 PM
Who’s Invited: Home-schooled or cyber-school students in grades 1 to 8. Join us for a unique adventure designed just for you. We pack interesting lessons on God and creation into 48 hours along with lots of great activities that you’ll find only at camp! This is a winter break time when you can lay the books aside and get into God’s creation!
Cost: $63.00 for the first child. $46.00 for additional children from the same family. Register by January 23 to receive the discount prices of $59.00 and $44.00 respectively.
Parent Note: Parents, Cabin counselors are needed. If you volunteer to serve as a counselor at this retreat weekend, you may bring one child free! Contact [email protected] for information.

Ben was saved during camp ministry at the age of 12. He went to Penn State and earned a degree in Agricultural Science. He retired last year after working 32 years for Maryland Dept. of Agriculture. He is the author of “All Nature Sings – A Devotional Guide to Animals in the Bible,” a book used and known in home-schooling circles. The book has been endorsed by Dr. Woodrow Kroll, formerly the voice on “Back to the Bible” radio broadcast; Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame; and Pastor Darren Ritchey from Grace Bible Church in Holidaysburg, PA. Ben is a member of and serves on the board of his home church in Cumberland, MD. Ben and his wife have home-schooled all 5 of their children.
What to Bring
Your Bible, notebook, pen or pencil, pillow, sleeping bag, enough clean clothes for the weekend, bathroom necessities and money for the camp store/canteen and friends to share the weekend with.
What to Leave Behind
Radios, CD players, iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, video games, etc.
