4.12 Leadership Training Program

Barnabas Mentor Coordinator (part-time, year-round):

The Barnabas Mentor Coordinator works with the adult mentors of the 4.12 Leadership Training Program students, equipping them to spiritually pour into the students. This is accomplished through trainings, events, monthly check-ins and more, this role is an integral part of helping students and their mentors develop vital relationships with Jesus Christ that overflow into their spheres of influence. Bible Adventure/CIA

Equipping Coordinator- S. York (part-time):

This is a missionary position for our program in S. York, PA. The Equipping Coordinator would invest time relationally connecting, equipping, and recruiting volunteer School Coordinators to minister to public school students in grades 3-5. This would involve training, one-on-one mentoring and providing encouragement to volunteer School Coordinators. You would help School Coordinators plan and implement a growth strategy so that more children can be reached for Jesus Christ (20 hours per week, mid-July through May).

Assistant Cook

The Assistant Cook supports the Food Service Coordinator in preparing and serving meals for camp participants and staff. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, previous experience in food preparation or cooking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, along with the physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. They play a vital role in ensuring that meals are nutritious, tasty, and served on time.

Programming

Assistant Program Director (full-time, year-round):

The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supporting the Program Director in various capacities. This role requires a strong commitment to organizational skills, teamwork abilities, and excellent communication. Responsibilities include assisting with camp programming that aligns with the Vision, Mission, Motto, and Core values of Joy El,  overseeing staff recruitment and training, and contributing to program promotion and development. The position also entails maintaining accountability to the Program Director, adhering to set performance standards, and actively participating in ministry activities year-round.
