Joy El is seeking individuals to fill the following positions:
Bible Adventure Assistant Director (full-time): Why? Because life is hopeless without Jesus and children need the hope of Jesus Christ. This ministry role involves mentoring and caring for, training and equipping volunteers. It is a regional administrative position that oversees volunteer recruiting and equipping to serve 3,305 children. If your calling is to work with children Joy El may be the place for you. You would help plan and implement growth strategies so that public school children can be reached for Jesus Christ through Joy El’s Bible Adventure Program. Equipping Coordinator (part-time): This is a missionary position where the person would invest time relationally connecting, equipping, and recruiting ministry leaders (School Coordinators) to minister to school children in grades 3-8. This would involve training, one-on-one mentoring and providing encouragement to School Coordinators. You would help them plan and implement a growth strategy so that more children can be reached for Jesus Christ (10-40 hours per week, mid-July through May). SUMMER SEASONAL POSITIONS
Cabin Team – individuals who have the incredible opportunity to connect and build relationships with campers. Members also assist in supervising a variety of camp activities.
Senior Counselor – His/her role is to provide a safe environment for campers to grow spiritually, physically, socially, mentally, and emotionally while exemplifying how all of life is meant to be lived in relationship with God. (High School graduate and above)
Support Team – individuals who meet a specific need necessary for camp to function.
Lifeguard – The purpose of this position is to maintain the pool and accompanying facilities, care for campers while at the pool, provide basic instruction in swimming, and assist with other activities at camp as needed.
Office Assistant – The purpose of this position is to assist the Camping Ministries Assistant in registration, reception, other office tasks, and assist with other activities at camp as needed
Bible Adventure Program Office Assistant – The purpose of this position is to assist the Bible Adventure Assistant in reception, paper work, other office tasks, and assist with other activities at camp as needed.
