Father Son Retreat

November 10 – 12, 2023

God calls us to serve Him through good works, but we tend to get caught up in the daily grind. We tend to list reasons for staying comfortable in our own routine, despite our good intentions. How do we get off the bench and put our faith into action?

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

James 2:17

Speaker

Bill PagaranBill Pagaran is dedicated to preaching the Gospel in Alaska, preventing suicide, and teaching, mentoring and training youth to make a positive impact in Alaska. Bill is also a professional percussionist with a degree in music performance and education. He keeps his Alaska Teaching Certificate current because it opens doors for him to go into school districts all over the world. He also has a long resume of perfoming, touring and recording with some of the greatest musicians in the world from every style imaginable. Bill performs, tours and records with the award wining Native American ministry band, Broken Walls.

Currently, Bill is the President of Carry the Cure, Inc., and Executive Director of Carry the Cure, Inc.’s “Committed to Life” program. This has been one of the most effective suicide prevention programs in Alaska, and Bill gives God all the glory for it.

Bill has faithfully assembled and led close to 100 teams of 4-18 local and nationally-known born-again volunteers and ministers out to Alaskan villages to bring Jesus’ life and light to the lost and hopeless with great success. He loves to take volunteers from a wide variety of Christian churches on each mission, which has helped unite Alaskan churches in relationship with one-another.

Through the ministries of Carry the Cure, Broken Walls and partnerships with other ministries, Bill has been blessed with the opportunities to minister in some of the smallest villages in Alaska, as well as in some of the largest stadiums in the world (Olympic Stadium in Berlin at Calling All Nations and Olympic Stadium in LA for The Call/Azusa Now Event). Bill’s mandate is to preach the Gospel in every town, city and village in Alaska.
