Following God’s calling can be scary. When God calls us to do something it requires courage for us to move forward. How can we all be willing to take flight and follow where God leads and how can mothers empower their sons to take flight as well and listen for God’s leading in their lives?
Speaker: Hilda Colon
Hilda Colon has a call to serve, lead and teach that has been evident since her childhood, growing up in Puerto Rico, through her residency stateside since 2009. Hilda has lead Lifegroups, Missions trips and Kids Ministries. A teacher at heart, Hilda served as a Theology Professor for the last eight years. This is where her passion and calling resides and where her gift are put into action and use. Hilda is the wife of Nelson Vasquez, and is mom to Nelson Jr. and Hannah.
Schedule: March 11-13, 2022. Check in begins 7 PM Friday and event ends 2 PM Sunday.
Who’s Invited: Mothers and sons in grades 1 to 12.
Cost: $167.00 for each mother-son pair. $80.00 for each additional child. Register and pay in full by February 11 to get discount pricing ($157.00/pair, $75/additional child). A minimum nonrefundable deposit of $50 will hold your reservation.
Our cabins have bunk beds and sleep 12. Mothers and sons will be housed in separate cabins–moms with moms and sons with sons. Counselors will be provided for boys’ cabins. Each cabin has its own bathroom with 3 shower stalls, 2 toilet stalls and a large double sink. Campers staying in the lodge pay an additional $51.00 for lodge space. Lodges are reserved on a first-come basis.
What to Bring
Your Bible, notebook, pen or pencil, pillow, sleeping bag, enough clean clothes for the weekend, bathroom necessities and money for the camp store/canteen and friends to share the weekend with.
What to Leave Behind
Radios, CD players, iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, video games, etc.

Registration confirmations are emailed 2 weeks prior to each event.
If you do not register prior to that time, no confirmation will be sent.
Registration fees are nonrefundable within 14 days of any event. If a cancellation is necessary in the last 14 days due to illness or accident, a written request to transfer fees to another camp event must be submitted within one week of the conclusion of the original event. A note from a physician must be included. Certain restrictions apply and a transfer fee may be charged.
