Friends, Please be in prayer for Reba Miller.
For many years, Reba Miller served with CBM Ministries of South Central Pennsylvania. Reba taught God’s Word in public schools prior to 1965. When the Bible was removed from that setting, she traveled from school to school reading Pilgrim’s Progress to children. And then, Reba was part of the group that learned of the Released Time law.
On Friday morning, my wife Stephanie and I enjoyed visiting Reba at Menno Haven nursing home. Her health has declined significantly in recent days. On December 21st, she had a more severe stroke. Her right side is paralyzed; this has also affected her speech and her throat.
Wilbur and Nancy Fritz recently shared, “She still knows us and seemed to listen today as we read Christmas cards she’d received from friends and loved ones.”
If you have the opportunity, I would encourage a visit to her. Thank her for her impact on your life, and for her life dedicated to service of the King.
Please also pray that Reba will continue to know God’s rest and peace as she waits for Him to call her to her eternal home.
