Recently I received a letter from a friend of Joy El. I want you to see how encouraged I am by the impact God had on her family through summer Camp at Joy El! She wrote:
Aaron, 2-23-14
I feel many benefits have come my way as a result of Camp Joy El. Both our children, Brenton and Jennifer attended camp in the 70’s. Brenton’s son, Arthur has just finished seminary and has been accepted in Cambridge & Bristol, England to pursue a doctorate.
Jennifer married a Naval Academy grad, Richard, who later went to Dallas Theological Seminary, and is now assoc. pastor at Community Christ Church in Pinehurst, N.C. We are blessed with “6” grandchildren. All “SAVED.” God is Good.
Ellen and I both enjoyed a number of years working in the summer at Joy El. Always remember Sam & Helen in the kitchen. Aaah—
