We just finished our summer staff training. On Friday evening 85 students from the 4.12 leadership training program joined us for their final training session of the year.
Since August, these students have been preparing for a summer of ministry. (And some have been in the program already for four years). They have met monthly with their mentor. They have participated in two training weekend summits already and Tuesday, they will begin serving campers.
Solid training is so valuable. I just can’t say it enough.
Having trained staff is foundational to having an excellent Christian Camps in PA and Christian Retreat Centers in PA. The 4.12 Leadership Training Program not only prepares emerging leaders to serve but also equips them with a solid Biblical world view. Having great role models is so valuable for young children.
I know this has been a foundational part of our excellent Christian Camps experience for many years. I praise God for these leaders. I am excited to see how God will use them this summer.
