We each face painful experiences in life that often cause us to question,
“Why is this happening to us?”
What if some of these painful moments in life are meant to refine us and further restore our relationship with Christ? Are we willing to go through the pain of the fire to get to the beauty beyond where we are consumed by Christ?
Speaker for Both retreats: Tyree Sterling
Tyree went “all in” for God as a young man on March 29, 1998. A couple years later he served as a youth pastor for over 14 years. In that time he’s been able to connect with students through many different outlets. In March of 2016 realizing he was doing great for everyone else but needed a better grip on his relationship with Christ, his wife and kids he resigned from his position as full time staff to begin a 6 month sabbatical. After that much needed time of personal reflection he decided to answer the ministry call to nationally assist leaders and students in discipleship THROUGH evangelism alongside of Dare 2 Share Ministries.
He’s inspired to run in his specific lane of ministry by the fuel provided from Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem (best friends), and in all Judea (friends) and Samaria (strangers), and to the end of the earth (the world).”
