By Aaron E. Ziebarth, Executive Director
I have always liked questions. I like to ask them, and I like it when people ask me questions.
My children ask me questions. My wife asks me questions. As the executive director of Joy El I get asked all types of questions.
This summer I was asked one question over and over again. And it happened again today, the last day of Discovery Day Camp.
During lunch time I was walking from table to table, talking with campers and counselors. And then it happened, Marcus asked me the most asked question of the summer: “Aaron, how can I pray for you?”
I was humbled by his sincere request and offer to pray for me. And we spent time praying, right there.
As a spiritual leader, I relish every offer I receive for prayer. The 2015 summer staff demonstrated prayer, and God honored it.
Who can you pray for?
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
