We lift up to you the Students who are struggling with a discouraged spirit. The feeling of being unwanted can deliver a sting like no other. The question of “why does no one want me?” can be an arrow piercing any chance of hope, and rejection can easily set deep into their soul. Let these students learn to know you Lord, someone who was fully acquainted with grief, misunderstood not only by family and those close to them, but by many.
We know you wait with wide open arms, and accept each Student as precious. We pray that through You they will know their true worth and value, especially when others put them down. You are the God of Grace, God of Peace, God of Mercy, but most importantly God of Love. Fill these Students with hope, alive in Your love.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you,” John 15:16 NIV
We praise you, Jesus.
