A Friendly Competition
We live in a society that has adopted the mindset that all participants deserve a trophy just for showing up. In the days of yesteryear, this was not the case. There was a clear winner and loser and kids had to learn to be good at accepting where they fell on that continuum.
One of Bible Adventure programs in York County has engaged themselves in a friendly competition where everyone truly does win a prize. There is a class of 3rd graders who are determined to get all of the students in their class room to join them at Bible Adventure each week. As of the middle of October, there are four students who remain in this class after the Bible Adventure students are called to the office.
These 3rd grade missionaries recognize that the prize offered is hearing and learning about eternal life through accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. They are hopeful to have all their classmates with them now in Bible Adventure and one day in heaven.
