Assistant Director of Bible Adventure/CIA
Angela*, a Bible Adventure student, forgot her Bible and verse sheet at home. Sylvia*, her mom met the school coordinator at the school with it.
Sylvia thanked the school coordinator for working with her daughter and said how much it means to her. She told the school coordinator that Angela was having a tough year with school and did not want to attend. Angela would give Sylvia trouble in the mornings except on Wednesdays. When it snowed on Wednesdays and school was cancelled, Angela’s brother cheered but she broke down in tears. She was so upset that she would be missing Bible Adventure that day. Sylvia was teary-eyed as she shared this with the school coordinator who then asked if there was something she could do and let her know that she would be praying for the special circumstances this family is facing.
What a privilege to share God’s love beyond the walls of our one hour of Bible Adventure! We want to make connections into homes to let parents know that we love and care for their children. We want to see whole families coming to know Jesus. God is giving us these opportunities. Please pray that our eyes will be open when they arrive.
