Do you remember the last time you read some verses from the Bible that JUMPED OUT and directly addressed a situation in life?
Last week I was doing a Bible study that led me to Hebrews 2:14-15.
Hebrews 2:14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death— that is, the devil– 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
Last week at camp I saw campers enslaved by their fear of life and death.
I saw many children who didn’t know Jesus, taken captive by the one who holds the power of death. Children who had seen very hard things and who had great brokenness.
But for many I saw the visible effects of Him of destroyed him who holds the power of death!
Praise God – 32 children have been released from the power of death during the first two weeks of summer camp. This makes for 398 Since September 1st, 2015.
Thank you for your prayers. Keep praying that God will bring children to summer camp and that he will release them from slavery and the power of death!
