When is the last time you were impressed with someone’s generosity?
Even amidst the difficulties of the pandemic, I have seen God glorified in so many different ways through generous giving. God is answering prayer after prayer, providing for needs at Joy El.
- Although attendance at our fall banquets was significantly lower than last year, God provided higher offerings than ever before.
- 4.12 Leadership Training Program students brought in an abundance of items for the Fruitbelt Farmworker Christian Ministry (https://www.facebook.com/FruitbeltFarmworkersChristianMinistry/about/?ref=page_internal) during their Christmas celebration.
- The day after the farmworker items were picked up, a church delivered a truckload of items for different facets of Joy El’s ministry. They had reached out to us and asked for a list of things they could provide. We gave them a big list and they provided beyond what we imagined!
God has promised that He “will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:19).
Believers are also encouraged to “bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it” (Malachi 3:10).
Recently I preached a message at our church from 2 Corinthians. Many have shared that they were really encouraged by the message. I thought I would share it with you. You may watch the message here, starting about 31:30 into the video.
May the Lord encourage you with these words.
