Why are you here?
Not here at your computer reading this blog but why do you exist on this earth? You may think that this question is better suited for a college philosophy class but it is a question that everyone must wrestle with, especially your children.
They may not ask it directly, but your children are yearning to know their purpose in life. Purposeless children become wandering teenagers who are desperately trying to find their place in a broken world and seek that purpose by broken means.
As Christians we find our purpose in Christ. Colossians 1:16 “tells us that all things have been created through Him and for Him.” We were created for the Lord Jesus Christ. His breath animates our existence and His will provides an end to our means. If you have lived long enough you know that the things of this world (money, power, success, love of others) ultimately does not satisfy our inner most desires. Our deep dissatisfaction flows from a weak purpose that is incompatible with our true identities.
We were made for Christ and find our fulfillment and purpose in Him.
At summer camp we seek to fill your children with this satisfying and life-defining purpose through our speakers, our games, and our counseling staff. We want your children to know that they are the children of the one true king and their lives will be complete and satisfied only if they dig their roots down into Jesus Christ who is the author and perfector of our faith and our ultimate purpose.
So don’t miss out on the opportunity for your child to find their purpose in Christ. Now is the time to register for a Christian summer camp experience. Learn about Summer Camp
