No Waiting Required: Embracing Jesus at Bible Adventure

There is much to praise God for in this new ministry year at

Joy El. We praise God for the 105 Bible Adventure programs, 20 of which are CIA programs. (Middle School, Christian in Action Programs).

In the month of September 2024, we celebrated 21 students who began a relationship with Jesus. We’ve opened 3 new Bible Adventure programs: New Salem Elementary (Spring Grove School District-York County), Old Trail Intermediate (West Shore School District-York County), and Pine Street Elementary (Palmyra School District-Lancaster County). God is working in each program as children are being discipled with sound Biblical instruction and have a listener mentoring them. Each week they are memorizing scripture, looking up Bible Verses, and explaining the meaning of each verse to their listener.

At Fishing Creek’s Bible Adventure, a 4^th grade boy who was invited by his friend, came with one thing on his mind. As he met with his new listener and they were getting to know one another, she asked him if he had a goal for the year of Bible Adventure. He said, “Yes, I want to begin a relationship with Jesus!” She said, “Well, you don’t have to wait for a year, a week, or even a day. Would you like to do that right now?” He said yes and we rejoice with this young man that he is now a child of God! He came to Bible Adventure wanting that personal relationship with Jesus. So many who come are hungry to know God personally. We are thankful for the Released Time Law that allows us to evangelize and disciple this generation of students.
