I worked at this camp a few years ago and absolutely loved it! They are very intentional about discipleship for the leadership team. They really helped form me into a leader. I spiritually grew so much there and they are very intentional and focused on that at every level. I could not recommend a camp or job so highly!! 10/10 recommend them if you are looking for a job or if you want to send your kids to camp!

Our son goes there through Easter Seals. He has a great time interacting with the other campers and counselors the whole weekend.

Joy El is the bomb diggity. I have spent plenty of time there though out the years, and I always have a good time with people who push me to strengthen my relationship with God.

The room was clean ( someone posted warnings of possible bedbugs?) and the facilities nice but the food was subpar. I really expect a christian organization tp provide premium quality food as icing on the cake? Think Marriage Supper of The Lamb! Nevertheless, the staff was friendly, Jasmine, who announced the menu at mealtime, stood out as the only Black, was inspiring, and the dining room had a down home feel.
