If you are on Facebook, you have probably seen many back to school photos. Earlier today I saw a photo that was different, and this really caught my attention.
Frank Heberlig graduated from the 4.12 program in May and served as a male counselor this summer at Joy El. Here is what frank shared:
“Here it is ladies and gentlemen, proof that God used me at Camp Joy El. Schedules of every week I worked in the summer (minus 2 weeks from 2012) with all my campers signatures. It is a reminder that God used me to help Him save lives. Although there were rough times, God used them to mold and shape me into who I am today. So I thank Him, and I thank everyone who taught and mentored me, past and present, throughout my adventures at Joy El.”
“Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64:8).
I am thankful Frank took the time to record and remember all that God did.
Let’s praise God together for how he worked through Frank and many other leaders in the past at Joy El!
“I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done” Psalm 143:5
