Third Generation Mentoring
This has been a very exciting season for the 4.12 team. We have seen God working in the lives of students and ourselves in so many ways. We recently went on a PA summer camp staff recruiting trip to Liberty University. While there I had the pleasure to meet with a former student, Connor (left in picture).
While I was meeting with him he had mentioned that he was beginning to mentor a few guys in his dorm. He wants to have the same impact on the lives around him that those in the program had on his life. Connor is continuing to grow in his own relationship while mentoring others in their relationships with the Lord.
He is one of many former students taking what they learned in the program and applying it to their lives and pointing others to Christ. I am excited to see how the Lord continues to grow him and other students as they pursue their relationship with the Lord to impact other students. This is 2 Timothy 2:2 in action, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”
