Recently we heard from a father who shared how attending the Father-Son Retreat has impacted them.
“My son and I have attended two of the last father-son retreats and are coming back again this year. Since coming to Camp Joy El I have been reading more scripture, praying a lot more, talking to my children and others more about Jesus Christ.”
Now that is so valuable. Two weekends away and more scripture, more praying and talking to family and others about Jesus, NOW THAT IS IMPACT.
How does that happen?
Does God speak more at camp? Perhaps. But we know there are a lot less distractions.
