Two weeks ago over 450 volunteers gathered at four locations to Kick off a new year. Brian Osborne from Answers in Genesis was the keynote speaker sharing “Quick Answers to Tough Questions”. (The book is available here). Volunteers shared that they, “Gained a renewed confidence and excitement for God’s truth”. Another shared that they are “Energized and excited to take this back to students”. And, “I was impressed with the need to believe stronger and defend the Bible.”
The break-out sessions were well received. Aaron Ziebarth shared on the value of scripture memory, and volunteers were highly responsive and chose to make memory a part of their life “I am inspired to memorize scripture”. Brenda Brazee and Victor Holler shared on maintaining discipline. Key leaders equipped the first year volunteers.
This is an exciting week. Forty-Seven Bible Adventure and CIA programs are opening, many more next week. Last year, more than 3,300 children participated each week in this life-changing discipleship adventure. Each Bible Adventure has set a goal for this year, the cumulative results are over 4,100 children!
