Several years ago, in an attempt to help others develop the daily habit of reading God’s word, I began offering some people help. I will share a key verse with an insight from my quiet time with them each day. The goal is to have them share one with me. Not only has this been a great tool but I am encouraged daily by the insights that others are finding from God’s Word.
Earlier this I was teaching about Christian Camping in another country. A young man named Michael Andreev embraced the challenge of exchanging scriptures daily. Recently he posted these insights on his Instagram page. They are translated from the original language, the emoji’s are original. I am sharing them with his blessing. I pray that you are encouraged.
👋 Friends, hello everyone.
🙋 I decided to start telling you about the path I am going through together with God and people. I also want to share my deep (or maybe not so) thoughts.
🏄This is a whole adventure).
Let’s see what happens. I think it will largely depend on how it will resonate in your hearts. But I at least feel like I want to share it and it’s hard to keep it to myself. 💫 I hope that this will help someone, inspire, give an opportunity to think about something important, or even direct them on the right path. Let’s go😎
👑My Treasury👑
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do” Proverbs 4:23
❤ I want to talk a little about our hearts. You know, I think the Lord wants us to protect our hearts the most in our lives. This part of the verse talks about the importance of guarding your heart. From what? I would say from the fact that it can harm or spoil it. 📱It’s like sticking a protective film on your smartphone and “putting” a case on it. Why am I doing this? Because the phone is valuable to me, and I don’t want to spoil it.
And it is clear that the phone can be damaged by dust, water, asphalt, etc. But with the heart, at first glance, everything seems not so simple, it is not so easy to understand what can harm it. But I would not say that, because I think that anything can harm the heart.
❌🚶 From this we can conclude that you should not leave the house at all so as not to harm yourself. But this is not so, of course. 👂 In fact, I want to urge you to just listen to your heart, because the Holy Spirit is in it, which will tell you what you need to do now.
Jesus Himself said, “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” Gospel of Luke 17:21b. 🚧 And I believe that you yourself know what harms your heart and what does not, you just need to listen. I think in this sense it is good to stop, to pause, and first of all literally physically.
Can you do this? And if so, can you honestly answer yourself the question: “My heart is calm, I don’t worry about anything?” And if the answer is no, then you can share this with your heavenly Dad, who will understand, accept you with your pain, support and heal your wounds.
Bless you for this amazing adventure.
