John 3:1 says, “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.” We are living in a world in which people continuously reject the Truth of God. There is no getting around it: there are a lot of evil people in the world.
In John 16:33 Jesus says, “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” People need the power and hope of Jesus to overcome the evil in the world. That is why the work we do here is vital.
