By Aaron E. Ziebarth, Executive Director
Recently Jan Diaz, our Associate Director of Released Time Ministries, forwarded an email to me. One of our CIA coordinators saw the great value of enlisting prayer support, and she proceeded to invite her friends. Following is her request:
Hi friends & acquaintances! 🙂
For the past 7 or so years I’ve had the privilege to be involved in ministry to students in “my” local public school. Many (all?) of you may already know this. Bible Released Time (3rd-5th grade) and CIA [Christians in Action] (6th-8th grade) are Bible programs under Joy El Ministries. Some of you may know a lot and some a little about these programs, but I’m not going to go into a detailed explanation here (Feel free to reply and ask questions though! :]) Clarification: I’ve only helped with CIA the past 3 years.
This year (and last) I am coordinating the CIA group. The point of this email is to ask if you are interested in praying for me, the other volunteers, and for students who need Jesus. God has given us an open door to share His love and truth with children, and I would appreciate if you would join me by praying. Prayer is powerful and I know God wants us to seek Him as we share His Word and reach out to those around us!
Please respond to this email if you will be praying and/or if you would like to receive email updates about what is happening throughout the school year! These updates will probably be quite sporadic. I promise I won’t be filling up your email inbox. 🙂
Thank you for considering joining with me reaching out to students at an impressionable age!
Prayer is a vital part of any ministry. This year, more than ever, we need your prayers for the Released Time Bible Program. If you would like to receive monthly email updates, please email [email protected].
