The guidance counselor at one elementary school where we have a Bible Adventure program thanked Janelle, the school nurse, who is our coordinator at Bible Adventure. She thanked her for her role in Bible Adventure and the positive impact Bible Adventure has on the children.
The counselor shared an observation about a Bible Adventure student. She said, “Her way of coping with difficult life circumstances was through music.” She said, “She now comes into school singing different songs that she learned in Bible Adventure.”
Janelle shared, “Even though the girl’s circumstances didn’t change, she now has healthier ways to cope with her problems.” These one on one mentoring connections, Biblical teaching and instruction do leave a lasting impact on these students. Be encouraged and celebrate the life change that we’ve heard from parents and our volunteers.
