“I never realized the Bible impacted this many people throughout history” Sue* exclaimed!
Sue was one of forty students who attended the 4.12 Program’s Bible Museum trip earlier this spring. The purpose of the trip was to help students deepen their understanding and love for God’s Word. Throughout the time the students were able to explore there, it was evident that many exhibits deeply resonated with them.
Of the many exhibits, one in particular showed the impact of the Bible upon major historical figures and how the Bible played a part in their life. Sue was one of many students who walked through and was quickly surprised by the exhibit. Although students recognized many of the historical figures shown, they had not known how influential the Bible had been in the things they accomplished.

Another exhibit that students were drawn to was a room where guests could go and record a short video of how God’s word has impacted them. Some students bravely shared their testimonies and even mentioned the 4.12 Program’s role in developing their desire to study Scripture more.
At the end of the day, students met in small groups and shared highlights from the trip. Many shared how it reminded them of the power of God’s word and challenged them to continually go deeper in their personal study of it.
I am grateful for the opportunities God provides for Joy El, a Christian Retreat Center in PA, to pour into this next generation of leaders and equip them further in their faith as they mature. Pray that these students would continue to apply and seek God’s truth each day.
