At year’s end, we often pause and reflect on the year gone by. This year has been a year like no other at Joy El. But, God is good! Even though we can’t always see a way through the darkness, He shines a light to lead the way for us.
* We never dreamed we would say goodbye to a 4.12 student who was murdered. Our 4.12 students reached out to witness to the man responsible for her death and grew stronger as a team.
* We never imagined we would battle to keep Released Time open when a police officer reinterpreted laws about buses. God used this, creating greater awareness of Released Time. Now more children are participating – 665 more than last year!
* We didn’t think we’d face a school refusing to let us transport children to Released Time. Through this, we saw the faith and unity of volunteers in that district grow. They are ministering more effectively to the students!
* 503 children began a relationship with Jesus this past year!
I am grateful for God giving us you! You’re a vital part of this ministry! Your support and prayers have been a blessing to all of us.
