Chris Walsh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Joy El, brings a wealth of experience in ministry leadership and a deep passion for empowering faith-based organizations. Chris’ experience includes eleven years as Director of Tonto Rim Christian Camp in Payson, AZ, five years as Executive Pastor of Ridgepoint Church in Wichita, KS, and seven years as Executive Director of Sugar Pine Christian Camps in Oakhurst, CA. Early in his ministry, Chris also served as a Program Director, Associate Pastor, and Youth Pastor. He’s earned a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Church & Non-Profit Administration and Family Ministries from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary in Fresno, CA, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts (Education) and Contemporary Christian Ministries. Chris and his wife, Lori, are proud parents/grandparents, and are thrilled to serve the Joy El community, collaborating with its dedicated staff, volunteers, campers, students, and patrons.
