Equipping Coordinator

Vicki’s first role with Joy El was in 2009, when she accepted the position of School Coordinator at Trimmer Elementary. She was a Listener for 1 year, and is also a Bible Teacher for Devers Elementary.

Vicki received her Bachelor’s in Bible and Bible Education from Lancaster Bible College. Recently, she returned to LBC for Graduate School receiving her Masters of Arts in Ministry Leadership.

Vicki loves teaching the Bible to children and seeing the excitement and enthusiasm they have for God’s word! She’s excited by having the role of encouraging and overseeing 5 other Bible Adventures.

Vicki and her husband Mitch have 3 children, Aaron, Heather, and Jesse. Vicki grew up in Harrisburg, met Mitch in Lancaster, followed God’s call to England when Aaron was 1 year old, and then 16 years later returned to York, PA.

Reading through the Bible, journaling her Bible reading, traveling, exercising, walking, ceramic painting, playing with her granddaughter, board games, flowers, birds, and time with friends are all things that Vicki enjoys spending her time with.

Vicki’s favorite scripture passage is, Isaiah 40:28-31, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.“
