Regina Martin

Assistant Program Director

Regina first became involved with Joy El through her cousin who served a summer as summer staff. She convinced Regina to come for the next summer, where she served two summers in the role of high ropes coordinator. In addition to the high ropes, she has also served as a lifeguard, hospitality, guest services and the kitchen.

Regina is excited to be working as an Assistant Program Director. She loves that she gets to work with students of all ages and provide leadership to others at Joy El. Originally from Muncy, PA, she currently lives in McConnellsburg, PA with her aunt. When Regina isn’t at work she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, sports, and traveling, especially flying.

A passage of scripture that’s meaningful to Regina is John 12:35-36 – “ Then Jesus told them, ‘You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.’ When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.”
