Assistant Cook

Annette and her husband, Darryl were called to serve at Joy El in a miraculous way! Know little about Joy El, Darryl was called to serve as Maintenance Coordinator back in the spring of 2023. Annette began to get a love for the ministry from the beginning of their time here, and decided to join as assistant cook to stay involved. She has also volunteered in the office for many departments. She loves getting to work with the 4.12 students and serving guests, volunteers, and staff (She loves loves loves people!).

Annette lives in Greencastle, PA (on-site actually) with Darryl and their daughter Allera. They have another daughter, Hayley, who is in grad school. Before coming to Joy El, they lived in Shippensburg, PA. When not at work, she loves to garden, spend time outdoors (when it’s not hot), and read.

Passages that are meaningful to Annette would be Titus 3:4-5 and Romans 2:4, as they both speak of God’s kindness.
