4.12 Administrative Assistant

Glenda first became involved with Joy El when her son Cruz joined the 4.12 Leadership Training Program. Her other children also began to attend Summer Camp. Through her children, Glenda was able to see the impact of Joy El, how much the programs poured into them spiritually and socially, encouraging them in their life and leadership skills. She’s excited to be able to work at a place that has valuable for her own children!

Glenda graduated from Grace Academy and has taken various college classes through Liberty and HCC. She and her husband have 6 kids, 5 of whom are still living at home.

Glenda loves to read and write. Her favorite verse is Hebrews 6:19, “ We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.” It’s a reminder that her hope isn’t anchored in the things of this world – even the good things – and that God’s love for us is secure and steadfast.
